About The Author of "Size 6"; Fatema Mernissi

The author of 'Size 6: The Western Women's Harem' was written by Fatema Mernissi. Fatema was born in Fes, Morrocco to a middle class family in 1940. She went to school in Morrocco throughout her years, but after college, she became noted as an Islamic feminist. Mernissi is deals with Islam and women's roles in it. In 2003, Mernissi was awarded the Prince of Asturias Award. Today, she currently lectures Mohammed V University of Rabat.
