I am a "Fangirl"

¨You´re never alone,¨ Wren said, sighing again. ¨That´s the whole ****ing point of having a twin sister.¨ (Chapter 1, Page 7)

The book that I am currently reading is, ¨Fangirl¨ by Rainbow Rowell. This story is about a girl named Cath who is a huge fan of Simon Snow, another book series. Cath just started college and is learning how to live without being by her twin sister (Wren´s) side all the time. The quote mentioned above stood out to me because Wren was able to remind Cath that she is never alone. This shows how Wren reassured Cath that she will be okay on her own. I have only read the first few chapters of this book and am already loving it.

I can connect to ¨Fangirl¨ because both the main character and I are shy. We are both also fangirls. For example, I am a fangirl of Harry Potter. Cath has read the series Simon Snow multiple times and I have read Harry Potter multiple times. I enjoy books written by Rainbow Rowell because she writes stories that you are able to connect to. Her writing style is very fluent to young adults. She also includes characters that you are able to connect to, like Cath. Her characters are shy, relatable, and compassionate. She is able to make her stories intresting to read. I highly recommend reading this book.
