Why Do People Write Poems?

Teens write poems because they feel the joy in creating a story and reading it after it has been write. People our age like to be entertained and I think that if there are groups of students who write poems about each other, then it would be interesting for listeners to hear about themselves from another person's point of view.

In poems, people try to express their emotions in what they are writing. That is why I feel like song writers can be very good poets if they aren't already. For example, song writers write songs about love and break ups. This is very identical to poems just with a melody.
