The End

You came and brought happiness to my world

Everything became wonderful for me

Did not know how life was supposed to be

Our bond was so strong in my dreamworld

And now everything seems to be ending

You told me stop playing with your heart

On the contrary our love was art

But you told me to stop pretending

Didn’t know what to do, my heart’s breaking

My body shaking, my soul shattering

Starting to think we do not belong

I’m mentally exhausted from trying

So with that, I will throw my promise ring

I realized everything we were was wrong

I chose this pome because it took so much time to write and I really paid attention to it. Since we started learning about poetry, I really love to write poems now, I took my time to write it. I also liked the way of this sonnet because there’s a turning point where happiness go to sadness.

This sonnet is about how love brought happiness and changed everything to a person's life. But when nothing goes right, love also bring sadness into their life. When two people didn’t agree on the same things or when both of them got tired of each other, it shows that there’s no point to be together. Sometimes, love is such a sadness but life must goes on. Move on! Be happy!
