The Last Sunset

Have you ever seen the beautiful sun?
The pretty sun sets on the horizon.
Walking down the beach, she sees her grandson,
They stop and stare at the shining diamond.
The sky suddenly turns to a deep blue,
The ocean waves start crashing on the shore.
She takes a deep breath and says, "I love you".
Her grandson falls asleep and starts to snore.
Her eyes burst open and it's become dark.
The night's become chilly and the trees sway,
She gets up and heads to central park.
But suddenly, her grandson passes away.
She lies there hopelessly crying in grief,
She buries her grandson with a gold leaf.
I liked this poem the best, because it describes the natural scenery around the girl, as well as her love connection with her grandson. When I was younger, I always liked to go to the beach and watch the sunset with my mom. We would always walk along the shore, listening to the waves crash against the sand, and wait for it to turn dark and we would star gaze. The sky would always be clear, and there would be millions of shining stars up in the sky. This is why I chose to write this poem and why it's my favorite, because it relates to me in the past and it's similar to my life (except the ending).
This poem is about a lady, who's walking along the shoreline of the beach and she sees her grandson. They keep walking along the shore, and she explains the sunset to her grandson and all the memories she had. She tells him that the sun reminds her of him because the sun is so beautiful and calming just like her grandson. They stay there together until it's become dark, but suddenly, her grandson passes away before she heads to the park. She doesn't know what to do, so she just cries there in grief, waiting and waiting, hoping that her grandson will come back. Unfortunately, he doesn't so she decides to bury him at the beach, where they last talked and saw each other.
