Over the summer, I went back to Japan. I was able to see my family again and reunite with my old friends. I was excited when I got to see them again because it has been at least two months since I have seen them. One thing that I was able to experience during this summer was visiting Thailand. I went to Thailand with my family for a family vacation and we stayed there for about four nights. We were able to stay in Bangkok, the capital of the country, and tour around the city. The most memorable thing that I did in Thailand was riding an elephant. I was also able to meet one of my aunt´s friends and we ate chicken and rice with her. She also showed us around the city telling us what was popular in Thailand and what foods we must eat before we leave. On the second day, we moved to another hotel called the Chatrium Hotel Riverside which was a beautiful hotel. I was able to go to Asiatique mall and drank Thai milk tea with pearls. Even though we were visiting Thailand and trying out their different foods, my family decided to eat at a Japanese restaurant for dinner that day. For our last day in Thailand, we moved back to our old hotel that we were staying at. My mom, aunt, and I then went to Terminal 21 which is one of the extraordinary malls that I have ever been to. The whole mall is designed to represent an airport in which floors represent different countries. Not only were the different floors interesting to look at, the bathrooms were also extraordinary. We met up with my aunt´s friend again and she bought us watermelon juice which was really delicious. Overall, my trip to Thailand was very memorable and I would like to visit there again.
