Movie Based Film

One of my favorite film that was based on a book was ¨If I Stay¨. The book was written by Gayle Forman. The film was released on August 22, 2014, and directed by R.J. Cutler. The book and the film are about a teenage girl named Mia finding herself in a coma after a horrible car accident. She was the only one that survived and throughout the book, Mia tries to decide whether she wants to wake up from her coma or pass away. This decision is hard for her because she does not want to leave her best friend, Kim, and her boyfriend, Adam. However, she does not want to wake up because she would wake up as an orphan. In the film the main character, Mia, is played by Chloe Grace Moretz and Mia´s boyfriend, Adam, is played by Jamie Blackley. This is my favorite film based book because the film is very similar to the story. Most of the films that are based on books skip parts of the book or ruin the book. However, for this film, it did not ruin the book for me but instead, it made me want to read it again.
