A Lesson I Learned

For this semester I have learned a lot. I think my reading is getting better than before since we have to read Douglass. This book is like practice reading for me because there were a lot of big world, which more of them I didn’t know the meaning. Douglass book is pretty challenging for me and took me such long time to understand it too. The important on is understanding because we had tests so I had to make sure if I understand everything before I take the test. This is the hardest part for me because sometimes even I know the meaning of the word I still get confused with what the author trying to say. Writing also one of my problem too, but I think my write skill got better because we also had vocabulary in the beginning.

Not only reading, writing, and understanding but I also leaned about slavery in America in the past. It’s also telling how slavery was like, what happened to them during that time, how did slaveholder treat them, and how people agree or disagree with having slavery. This is really interesting for me and also useful for AP American History class.
