"The Truth About Forever", my favorite AR Book

In this wonderfully created book called The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen, it tells a story of a broken girl. Macy Queen holds a weight upon her shoulders, and her only escape to break free from everything is to run, but it is also her burden. Two years beforehand her father had passed away, and her life had never been the same after that. Her mother became a workaholic, and her older sister had left to start a new life with her husband.

Then what happened to Macy? She, however, had kept everything within herself, she built walls up so high that no one could be able to climb over, and walls so thick you cannot break them down. That is until one night changed everything for her. When a catering group, Wish, with its fun-loving, chaotic crew, had come to her house to cater food for her mother’s party. This is when she first met Wes, the one who managed to break down her walls, and the one who got her to fly again.

I would recommend The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen to everyone, and it is a five out of five star rating. This book is very relatable to me, and it truly is an eye opener to how life should go on, and you should not hold on too tightly to the past, but that you should only remember it. It also tells you that you should chase after what you want in life, and not do things you dislike to please other people. The Truth About Forever also shows how strong a person could be, and how hard it is to truly try and stand up to the demons that are haunting you. There are many obstacles in life that are hard to overcome and get past. The Truth About Forever, you may ask, is a question that Sarah Dessen has answered for us in the book. It is happening.
